Kevin Kenny Posted April 17, 2020 Author #134 Posted April 17, 2020 I decided to attempt to make the deck rings for the air scoops from mahogany. Was very gently on the cutting as it is very difficulty because it is such a soft wood. Before sanding i saturated them with thin CA to give the wood cells some strength and to prevent them from breaking. Used the Turbo Carver to sand as it is very gentle on the pieces.
