We used this site before for great scale hooks.  He has them back in stock.  Three sizes.  (I have no interest in this site).

I don't see how they can make them for 99 cents.

But I'm hooked on both counts.

I stocked up on them a while back.

They look just like the picture, and the 2mm ones are as good as you could make at that size.

I think they will be great for ~1:48 cannon tackle.

It's pretty easy to make your own and with the number of hooks needed for a build it is aslo more economical. I use silver wire for added strength as compared to craft wire and solder the eye.

Completed scratch build: The armed brig "Badger" 1777

Current scratch build: The 36 gun frigate "Unite" 1796

Completed kits: Mamoli "Alert", Caldercraft "Sherbourne"

Dafi produces his photo etch from his own pocket as far as I can tell. His sheet of hooks, ringbolts dwarfs any other options out there. I forgot the numbers, but you're in the thousands. Makes $0.99 for 20 look pathetic. He does lots of other useful etch..... do yourself a favour and check his site.

Not sure why you say that.. 920 hooks for 47 euro.  & $56 US..   What is shipping?

This is a snip from Dafi.  Largest size is 2mm

These from Crafty Sailor ( Falkonet )

The ones from Crafty Sailor look better IMO and are available in six sizes from 2mm to 5mm..

You can get 1,120 for $56..

I'm sure Dafi's are good stuff, and a better price if you count the  eyebolts  and don't need anything larger than 2mm, but maybe not the best option for the US.
