Glue and metal was one of my nemesis on the Spirit

I particularly remember the triangular decorations

Two or three would stick nice then you would get a series that would not stick whatever you did

It was a difficult place to put in pegs and a couple of times I glued pegs to the ship

Then for no apparent reason they would stick  :piratetongueor4:

I am having a lot of gluing problems on the tram as a lot of the parts of the passenger cabin are under a lot of tension and being so curved are again difficult to clamp

It seems that whatever I try one corner resists all attempts to stay in place  :pirate41:

I hope when I get back to my favourite type of build, a ship, that things will go a little more smoothly

Keep it up  :10_1_10:

Fear not, old friend.  You may still sit at the table...... in fact at the HEAD of the table.  This is where they usually deliver the check  :D  :D:P

Love that but you're not far behind... Commodore Sjors may just nod his head toward Commodore Augie, who also heads the table, when the check comes around :D Besides, who knows what his rank will be then :) A mere check might be beneath his station at that point... -_-

We want sunshine, now we have got it…….

But it is already over.

Two days of 34 degrees Celsius and the coming days it goes down to 16 degrees Celsius…...

Winter coat out of the closet again…...

animaatjes-sjors-94584.gif

There you go complaining about the weather again. Today was the winter solstice down here, so the summer solstice for you upside down people. That means that from here on, your days are getting shorter and winter is approaching. Aren't you glad you enjoyed the summer so much? :P

At the rate he's going we may need higher ranks.  Keep in mind the only reason I'm close behind is all the posts needed to keep him IN check :P  :P

Ah, but in a strange twist, the Summer solstice actually came last night (6/20) @ 11:04PM here in the western US.  Don't ask me to explain it (too dumb) but that's according to the Clark Planetarium.

Now keep in mind that the 'supermoon' should be out 6/22, 23.  Not sure if the moon shines beneath the Southern Cross but good luck :D

Hi Mick,

I know exactly how you are feeling with those metal parts.

There should be a law to forbidden the metal parts into a model kit…...

The next pairs of metal is glued after removing 7 times because I was not happy with it…...

@ Grant,

In the Netherlands we are always complaining about the weather…to hot, to cold, to wet, to dark etc etc etc .

But yes indeed, the days are gonna be shorter….

We go from spring straight into fall….no summer this year ( ok, only two days )

@ Augie,

When you have your promotion we gonna split the bill  :D  :D  :D  :D

@ Andy,

I still follow everything Augie is saying and what you are posting  :)  :)  :)

So come on, go further with the season journey, I need my reading stuff...

Again a little step at those wonderful quarter gallery's…...

The bars for the balcony ( I think it calls that ) are in place.

More windows coming above it but that's for later this week.

I may go for work again the whole weekend.

When everything is on it, it needs a little bit more paint.
