Very nice work Alan.

Some how even when sitting on it's landing gear it has a raptor-in-flight look making it look like it is already speeding through the air. Nothing at all like the utilitarian look of the V-22 Even though it is the one with the raptor name.

You could also acquire a Glencoe #05201 which is the McDonnell XV-1 convertiplane...

In a yummy 1/32nd scale, price looks quite reasonable as well... We could do a dual build on her.... {chuckle} she would be perfect for the Rub-n-Buff treatment....

This one is mine... they are not hard to find and are still reasonably priced...

Or perhaps a Bell XV-3 Convertiplane.... can't get anymore STOL that these...

I just acquired one myself, there are several still available but they are becoming hard to find so the prices are going up....

It's only 1/43rd scale so it won't fit my collection unless I upscale her...

I've got lots of projects as well, just not enough time for them all... {chuckle}

Thanks EG, there are some interesting subjects there, I was wondering if the Fairey Rotodyne would fit in there somewhere too. I dimly remember Airfix having a kit (in the sixties?)

A very underated  Jet    with so  much  style,    Kinetic  do some really nice  1/48  kits  of Harriers    and I think  Hasegawa  do some  AV-8   kits.

OC.

The Harrier is not an elegant jet but with a full load out it has "presence". Nothing to mess with

To get a sense of what the Harrier can do (Hollywood style), you need to watch (or re-watch) the movie True Lies with Arnold S. The end sequence is a blast to watch.
