Hi Mike,

I took a look at your log which I found because you posted in my log to be honest  ;)

I must say that your build is looking exceptionally well and your log is very inspiring even when it is way beyond what I feel I can do at this moment.

Keep up the good work, in the meanwhile I'll grab a seat to watch it!

Hi Patrick

Thank you! - but that's still a long way up to the wet ...

... otherwise, you hit a sore spot! - the final density test is not yet done!

I was too impatient and wanted to get start the deck - you see, so much for my famous patience!  ;)

I am however very hopeful that with the use of the Primocon primer (Log #127) everything turns to the good.

All the best,

Mike

Hi all

Thanks a lot for all your visits and the likes on the last few logs! - they are always well appreciated!  :)

@Patrick
... I hope, that you have for your part a long patience with my workshop.  ;)

Now, let's have a little break from the deck. I like to show you a beautiful painting of a CA-Pilot that I found on the web (http://www.kyst-norge.no).

The tidiness of your workshop explains your meticulous attention to detail. If I were as organized as you I'd probably work at least 10% faster!

The more you got to the exterior the more you had me wondering how on earth you were going to 'clamp' those last deck planks ... Eventhough you are building at scale, the ease you progress does not show it. Marvelous ...

Hi all,

Patrick, Carl, Sir Blue Henry – thanks!

@Carl

Don't worry, I claim no copyright – you don't know what I already have "stolen" on MSW! - but ssssht, don't tell!  ;)

Today I had a highly famous visitor! It was CA's inspection ...  :huh:

... the old man was on the shipyard. He watched carefully every detail and at this he looked somewhat grimly - in the end he had but a little smile – “ Carry on!“, his comment ...

... “Yes Sir!“  ;)

Mike, Wow! what a superb job with the deck planking. I would be extremely happy to do such a fine job. I am looking forward to seeing how it looks with the caulking. I wish I had used the same method on my cutter.

I have no idea how I missed seeing this build log until now. Terrific work, Mike! (Assume every post of yours has an extra 'like' to it now!)

I just enjoyed a good hour reading your log. I am trying to to learn as I go and there are so many great ideas within your work. First is the integrated lead keel. Then the beautiful metal work. Wow

Thanks for sharing.
