Pat, that ironwork is excellent, you've moved into the teaching band now, even if the learning never ceases

Hi folks, another update.

John - you won :) - many thanks for the head's-up.    I decided to do some of the running rigging for sails.  I have finished the mizzen, and only a couple t go on the main topsail; then onto the foremast.

The quarter badge window shutters have also been fitted now - hopefully I do not bump them .

cheers

Pat

Slowly coming together - these are the latest progress photos.  Apart from 2 bunt lines to do on the foremast topsail yard, I have many (NO - very many) coils to make up and place, add the Ensign (waiting for it to arrive), finish the spare yards, 2 x mast tackles (showing them in use), add some boat details (oars etc), make the skiff and yawl and lastly - enjoy :)

cheers

Pat

Certainly very enjoyable looking at your fine ship, Pat! It's almost too beautiful to sail!

Fantastic job. I am totally entranced with your stand. Is that a map of the world from the Endeavour years?

she looks awesome Pat.....{I like the stand too}  :)    the added running rigging is a treat......how you've tied off some of the pendant blocks,  so they can be easily retrieved,  when setting the sails,  is a nice touch of realism.   she's a sweet model........very well done  ;)

Thanks for looking in and commenting Greg and Don - rapidly approaching that point Greg :)  But, I do need to add the rope coils and two further rigging lines as a minimum - and as I have ordered the Ensign, at least that also.  The other two boats - I am debating these ;)

cheers

Hi folks,

Another small update, and very near complete now.  Could add a bit more - but as Greg pointed out - need to move on sooner or later.

Still to go:  2 x boats, boat oars (started - see picture), some more rope coils and the commissioning pennant.

cheers

Pat

Thanks for looking in and all the likes and comments folks; I very much appreciate the feedback.

B.E.  Easily done mate, especially noting the many fine logs in this forum; I have missed many and bet there are still a few logs going that I would appreciate following - but there is only a finite amount of time in the day :)

John, Popeye -  That finish line is so close I can small the champers :)

C.A - I am sure it will mate - perseverance is the name of the game (only 13 years for mine :))

cheers

Not a glass one greg, but an acrylic with wood base which is ready to go - I'll post a piccy in a couple of days.  Just finishing the boat's oars and fitting the Common (tricolour) pennant and she will be ready for display.

cheers
