Hi Nigel, You are so gentle my friend... Believe me, these are both equally pleasant to follow the builds like yours, full of mastery and to build mine...

@ Michael, Hi Michael, I know that was a long pause, she is chapfallen on the desk. The last %20 of the build needs the %80 of the purpose (The Pareto Principle / the 80-20 Rules) @ Popeye, Hi Popeye, Your nice poetic expression depicted the build in front of my eyes... And yes, I realized that for me the wood is more attractive and enticing than the rope... But as ropes are the hair and as I prefer my lady with hair on her shoulders; I have to...

No, no, Popeye I am well, in good mood... Like after some repose, to be activated needs the first motion, my first ratline will be the motor starter...

Hi Popeye, Thank you very much for your kind visit, charming comments and gracious thoughts... ( and for many Likes ) You are quite right about the talented and scholarly modelers... Astonishing, incredible, fascinating... are most of them!... I am just one ratline away from the build. The problem is the new first footstep, then I can begin to walk.

Hi Sjors, Congratulations... Beautiful ending!... Unnumbered works have been done... Interminable path has come to an end... (May my turn come next!...)

Congratulation Hamilton, to you and to your entire family... Wish God makes him grow with his father and his mother... (an idiom from my country)

Thank you Sjors for your kind reception... I have lost my zeal a little, made a pause and am awaiting some inspiration...

Hi Mathewp, Until now I used to suppose that the speed and the quality were reversely proportional... You maintain the control at the top gear... Very fine work...

Thank you Hamilton, You are so victorious... Rigging details are outstanding... You are so speedy to answer a request in comparison with me...

Hi Hamilton, I am feeling somewhat embarrassed being intensely in building Berlin... I am awaiting the inspiration come back again... It's good to have a break now and then... Your rigging skill is really outstanding... By the way, what are you thinking about the ornaments -being set aside for a while- along the bulwarks forward & aft and on the transom, any other ideas?

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
