Ahoy JPett, May I ask a question, a question about your preference; you had allowed that at the start... The false keel is plywood I see from here... Through thin face of the plywood it could be seen all its layers even if it is painted. To plank the plywood of the false keel would not have perfect result in my opinion. Are you thinking to reproduce the false keel in scracth while you are at the beginning? Only the parts which could be seen out of the hull... Sorry for the intervention... -
Like especially that photo from below to upward... as from the eyes of a constant and enthusiast visitor keep watching her construction at the drydock...

A shortcut for rigging that I keep using to rig blocks with the ropes 0,5 mm of diameter and below... It's easy to make it and at this scale and thinness it simulates the knots very good in my opinion... http://www.lake-link.com/knots/knot.cfm/100/Uni-Knot/

Thank you Ian, There is a precious tutorial. First work at 10 years old ... Now it's pretty understandable to see that fantastic stove... Pretty because the experience is very important but it must be also the skill... You had soldered these two factors together at a perfect temperature...

This is a complet project on its own... It's a great pleasure to follow this project with curiosity but with some mopes as well because I know that someday it will be finished... ( and at that point happy should be Admiral?)...

Wow Sjors!... Very nice indeed... There are 5 and 6 shrouds on the fore and main top masts... On my build I have just one pair of 5 only on the main mast lower... You are so able, so speedy, so patient... And furthermore there aren't any missed ratlines even in daylight?!...

Looks great Augie, as always and as expected... May I ask a question? Why isn't preferable; to fix by nailing the false deck onto the frames after being treated with PVA? Eventually the deck will be planked. There won't be any nail in sight. I see a lot of builds on which the decks are glued with the aid of some weights on them and many rubbers and clamps... I know if the deck had been planked before fixing onto frames this way is indispensable... I know also that everyone here knows to fix the deck with PVA and nails but I would like to learn why this isn't preferable...

And a piece of addition... The mouse has been made in this way, instead of piece of wool, I have used piece of wood... I haven't confused the words; wool and wood, it's just a preference...
