The Sherline Mill has a Sensitive Drilling Attachment available as an accessory, which is perfect for most of our (modelling) requirements. That is, if you have the budget for a Sherline…….. 😊

You’ve mentioned several times about not having an airbrush. I think this is nature’s way of providing you just the excuse you need to acquire one………(just sayin’ 😉…….)

Nice progress so far.  I have this kit in my stash, so will follow along with interest.

In the lowered position would be an interesting and somewhat unusual way for a model to be displayed B.E. and therefore adds an extra degree of interest to the model. I’m liking this arrangement.

Wow Mark - just WOW! What an outstanding job you have done with that painting! And thank you so much for sharing your experience and methods with us all - that is so valuable.

I somehow missed the start of this build Ben, but I’m here now and fascinated to watch your progress. It looks like there are some more innovations with this kit design - great to see.

Well, my vote may be a late count Glen, but I’m glad you decided on #2. With the rock coming from your own property, it could represent “East meets West” in the story-telling.
