Mud ! Part 1, washes done, tomorrow I’ll make it dusty

Ok, chipping done and a clear coat. Washes, mud etc next 

So this is the practice piece, a couple of shades of blue (medium then light) and a blue filter. The tracks a mix of black and brown. I’ll leave it dry them a clear coat 

So the first one I got was crushed, so I’ve repaired it. 

Well that set you all off!

The gun

The kit: very simple to build, beautiful track details as a one piece print 

A lovely little design from 1918, I first ordered this from Vargas models in the US and it arrived crushed due to poor packaging. A second one was send after some time (including another little gem which I’ll show).

This design lost out to the FT-17 (upcoming build)

Hull grunge 

I have no idea, it was just a nice build 

The 1/350 AE2, its tiny, I’ve added ringols on the side of the hull and deck plates. Holes have been drilled for the railings, and added hatches on the conning tower from spares. A rivet line has been added for the balance tanks. I’ve texted in some hull plates but will do it again in the primer coat.

I wanted to do a submarine for this years model show. This one is tiny so my plan to super detail it as much as one can on something this small
