  2. Thank you very much, Johnny! Looking forward to your build log!
  3. Welcome to Model Ship World! Posterboard is .8mm. I use a lot of that. Shipyard’s Coureur is a nice kit. I have one sitting in my stash right now.
  4. Glen, Thank you very much! Thank you everyone for the likes and for stopping by! A half dozen demi-culverin carriages:
  5. I made enough rings for all the carriages: The first set of carriages are assembled: The demi-culverin carriages are begun: The culverin carriages are sealed and awaiting painting now.
  6. Culverin carriages: 120 Eyebolts: I made enough for all of the carriages.
  7. I used drywall spackle and Delta Ceramcoat sealer. The Folk Art brand clear primer works just as well. I had a lot of fun building Prince de Neufchatel. It is one of my all time favorite builds.
  8. Twenty wheels, cut out and rough assembled: Making banding: Some banding already cut: Twenty wheels, final assembly required: Then all I need is to put these on the gun carriages, make and add eyebolts. Then paint them, and I’ll have my first set of gun carriages!
  9. I paint my wood models just like I would a plastic kit.
