Or I could build a backyard pond, waterproof the hull, and float her out there. But then winter ice would be a problem.
A room of her own with a pond! Won't freeze over in winter🤪

Finished dimensions are
Length 40 3/4 inches or 1035 mm
Width 6 1/32 inches or 153 mm
Height 27 15/16 or 710 mm
The odd values are because the original measurements are given in metric
7 inches shy of 4ft, I think you need to find her a room of her own!😏 I thought Winchelsea was big at 38 inches and she's not going to be rigged.

I've been reading some novels of the Peninsular War of the early 1800s. Wellington versus Napoleon's marshals.
One of my favourite periods, if you haven't already read them I can recommend Bernard Cornwell's Sharpe series and C.S Forester's Death to the French and The Gun
EG even subconsciously through novels I still struggle, I'm great with pointless info but for anything else I have to have in front of me

Getting there nicely.
I'll look forward to the end result Denis 😁

That my friend would be a WAAF, stands for Women's Auxiliary Air Force.... Your mossie dates this to '43-'44 correct? which means by the uniform she is wearing she is either a warrant officer or a flight officer. The skirt sets it off as an officer uniform. If she was an enlisted rank like a flight sergeant she would be wearing dungarees at the field...
So at the very least she is the driver for the officer, a section officer or assistant sec.off...... With the clipboard I would say assistant section officer, (rank equivalent to an acting pilot officer in the RAF) and she was driving the jeep......
EG how do you recall all the info? I read alot of history ref books but struggle to remember the facts I read.

Looks like the box says it's 40 3/4 inches, but maybe I'm reading it wrong. It's a big one.
WOW!! That's huge, that must include the bowsprit and the boom. No wonder Jack has got to rearrange to display it.
Did you have a good trip Craig?

Looks great Phil, is the second planking similar to a self adhesive vinyl paper?
Will any multi purpose filler work as spackling in the UK is nearly £30 a tub?
-
Looks good, it's coming along nicely!

First planking looks good, deck is coming along nicely!😉

Looking good, nothing wrong at all with slow and steady! Nice first planking

😃the metal finish looks stunning EG.
I think the lack of notifications is due to the changes being made.

Don't be too hard on yourself OC, I think looks fantastic, very royal navy, wouldn't look out of place on HMS Illustrious.
Edit: further research suggests that mk3 were on Hms Victorious and mk2 were on Illustrious
