You just fractured the bah humbug thing I've been saving up for Christmas. Santa will probably sail it awaile before he delivers it. Just perfect.

Me too. The remarkable thing is that as they grow up we get younger. Strange that. Great Picture Tom; you could almost field a football team there!

Good to see the loose ends tied up. Will you be ready for the grand reveal by Christmas?

The tension as you sprint for the line is showing (literally) in some very neat rigging. Looking forward to seeing it all come together.

Love the attention to detail. As you say these things can multiply up later. Great work!

Like you I mostly use hand tools, and improvise with home made jigs for other tasks - I enjoy the challenge!
Well I am researching boats similar to your ketch - there is a long tradition of fishing ketches here in the south coast of England. I'm interested in the fact that they were built for the task longlining or trawling - powerful and able to work in big seas, yet fast to get the catch to market.
I hope to choose a suitable boat for a build soon.

Bloody Nora (a British term meaning 'I cant believe this') Vareriy - even the famous match is too big to fit in this photo! Stupendous.

That's some very fancy joinery Hakan. I'm always impressed when close up photography looks flawless. Particularly like the steel 'treenails' great idea!!
