Good spotting. I was looking at the ship center of the painting and I notice two sterns. But it only looks like one ship? Or am I missing something?

Interesting Yard arm ends.... Personally I would do away with them altogether but if you want to keep them have a go at shaping some with wood as Ulises Victoria suggested.

It would of been a dangerous job emptying the fire box on these wooden paddle steamers. Did they ever (drop the fire) as they do with railway locomotives? How was this done?

I do like the rubbing strakes, the dark wood against the lighter tone wood of your planks looks great. Good work.

An absolute beautiful planking job! As for the finishing a lot of people use a wipe on poly. I try to stay away from varnish as it can be too glossy for my liking .
