Ok, I’ll bite. What is the wife going to be doing on 3 lower tables while your ship building on some higher ones? At the same time?

Hi Dan, welcome. There is no question by a new modeler that cannot be answered here. Go to the new member introduction area and introduce yourself and meet some of the fine folks here that can help start you on your journey. 👍😀

The more I see the, more I want Micheal Caine and Robert Shaw as my wing men! Those naughty Yellow Nose’s! (Apologies to non BB film fan’s!)
One of my favorite airplane movies, I watch at least twice a year. 👍

Is that substructure in the nose thick card under a pattern? In the picture it almost looks like wood.

Welcome Aboard Mate! Welcome back to the hobby. Is there a short version of that handle or a name we may call you? 😀

😳😁 Are the deadeyes loose enough to turn for alignment when it’s time to install? Actually, looks like you got them pretty aligned. 👍

"It never ceases to amaze me at how much better models look in direct sunlight...."
Real tactical jets... same thing. Outside they look different than they do when you drag them into the hanger. Even todays grey jets look brighter outside.
Looking real nice! 👍😀

Oh yeah, I know the motivation question well. I haven’t made a single piece for my HMAV Bounty in about a week. Your thread here kinda got me back into my KM books. I’m also writing a piece on a Bismarck-related subject, and I need to get motivated and get back on that too. It involves some new research that no one has yet seen, which I’m quite excited about. More on that later this year. Thankfully I’m down to 2 ship “projects”, both the research article and Bounty. Thankfully Bounty is at the mast stage, so up we go with that.
I've found things like this to be reassuring that a community such as MSW can be so much fun and educational. I have not touched my rattlesnake in a week, but I have been enjoying learning, watching and reading on the forum. 😀

Lots of dedicated work there Dave, really nice work! Think how hard it must have been for some poor sap to have to paint those decorative moldings. 😳

Just joined the audience, looking good. Did I miss somewhere in all your posts a name to call you?

Good again, explain to me what happens, I use the google translate Spanish to English, I copy and paste the text in English... I put a lot of effort into it because I'm not used to it, I know it's a forum in English and I've read the rules.
I need to know if something is happening, because making an effort that doesn't work out doesn't make sense.
Does it appear in English or Spanish?
Thanks.
Whatever you did for this reply was OK. Something happened on your first post for this thread.
