Im attached to TV The heaviest rains and floods in the past 120 years hit Bosnia and Serbia this week, killing three people, cutting off electricity and leaving several towns and villages isolated. The three casualties, one of them a firefighter on a rescue mission, drowned in Serbia. The country declared a state of emergency in 18 towns and cities, including the capital, Belgrade. Situation changes every minute- 4,152 replies

First of two days of announced for hard rain ( forecast said: it will be more rainfall in this two days than a whole average May ...). So, we can expect to grow webbed between the toes, and branchiae on our backs ... Almost whole day jumping as a goat in down-town from one end to another trying to drown my car and myself (I hate umbrellas of any shape and type !!!), come to my dry home finally, and find some time for shipyard between Admiral`s cell phone malfunction and talking with locksmith about some repairs in home Coloring of deck is finished, I think I have got exactly what I am looking for - mostly gray colored "weathered" deck ( try to imagine sea salt residues) which penetrates "natural" wood color, with semi visible caulking and all boards ... This is my "artistic" approach and my feeling how it have to look at final stage. Decision was made - whole model will be weathered on some way, I do not know exactly how, but there is a lot of time until time for this come I am not sure how HTC camera catches colors I have got under artificial lighting in my workshop, and here are photos bellow. This is it, and I can go further to paint white railings, fearing, fleeing from and delaying coopering job- 4,152 replies

Two days drowned in crap all day, doing this and that, this and that, going here and there, here and there, with endless and pointless telephone calls, different job and home obligations, Court checking, pauses for coffee, driving through City, and what I'm exactly doing whole day ... I just .. I do not know ... Today in "Greennet" trying to consolidate myself Well ... I mainly know, but I have no idea where as before escape whole day, and when it comes before 21:00-22:00, when it's too late for some serious work in the shipyard Must organize my time in better way ... that remains me to clever words spoken by my friend " ... there are periods in life when you are not master of your time ... success is - to get control of your time..." How truth- 4,152 replies

Grass cutting, roses cutting, tightening a motorcycle chain, visit of neighbor, and finally at my own, putting first layer of weathering It seems that I am on right way, and it seems that there have to be one or two maybe three layers more to get color I have imagined- 4,152 replies

On the way to proper / desired color of deck ( nice and thin shade of lipstick color). Needs whitening, but tomorrow when it all dry I am amassed by simple magic of acrylic paints - just tiny transparent layers of pure/mixed colors make miracles, and all caulking lines are still there. Birthday present and little playing ... yeah ! And the pest in action ...- 4,152 replies

I read this and fall from chair laughing ... I can`t wait to come to final painting of bulwarks around white panels, but first I have to make dead-eye and nail holders, and paint them all with same color, and on that point arise question of to bye / to make dead eyes, how to mount them, and when thinking about it, I think if I mount this now, all construction on inside bulwarks will be in dangerous to be damaged when coopering, so, line of moves seem to look : 1. painting deck 2. painting rails on outside bulwarks 3. make rudder 4. coopering of hull and rudder 5. mounting rudder 6. making final stand for Her ( construction for stand), and only after that - great come back to deck.- 4,152 replies

Final deck sanding complete, and some color tests done Notice: Curvatures of caulking lines ........ camera see them, but they are not so visible with eye and from distance, and there will be lot of stuff over them, and deck will be colored and probably weathered. No way to do this third time. In next model- 4,152 replies

Geoff, there will be more dust, but not today. In Orthodox calendar today is Djurdjevdan, one of the wide spread church celebration day, and almost all or have quests as hosts of their "Slava" or as quests go to family/friends who celebrate today. Today is Admirals brother Slava, and we went to meet family More information on Wiki " ...The "Slava" (lit. "celebration"; Serbian Cyrillic : Слава), also called Krsna Slava (Крсна Слава, "christened Slava ") and Krsno ime (Крсно име, "christened name"), is a Serbian Orthodox Church tradition of the ritual glorification of one's family's patron saint among Serbs, but also Serbs in Montenegro and Macedonia . The family celebrates the Slava annually on the saint's feast day . Unlike other major Orthodox Christian nations, i.e. Greeks , Russians , Romanians, Bulgarians , Georgians etc., Serbs do not celebrate individual name days, as when a person named after a saint would celebrate that saint's feast day , but instead they do it collectively as the name day of a certain family and/or clan. Serbs usually regard the Slava as their most significant and most solemn feast day . [1][2] The tradition of the Slava is also very well preserved among the Serbian diaspora on all 5 continents... " We are atheist, but this is great opportunity to see wide family and to take nice day with them- 4,152 replies

Next question is, how to hide tools from grown kids? Not to protect kids, but to protekt tools? First Dremel set, then paintbrushes, after anvile (!). Yesterday soldering iron ... BTW, with locking door, you will hide Lego from yourself -

Thx all for likes and comments. Finished sanding with 220 granulation, next 280 and 400. All "trenches" filled, and start thinking about final deck colour- can I replay last experiment, will it be same, better or ... anyway, it must be transparent ... I am so delighted with succes of caulking efect, and this must be visible for everybody who will be interested to put his nose close enough throught jungle of ropes and sails, and who has good eyes to see that without opening Her future glass home Cleaning sand dust from deck and bulwarks will be interesting. In earlier stages I learned something: if you want perfect (as perfect you are able to do) paint, there must not be any dust traces. And for now, Her Majesty is completly covered with thin layer of dust. Whole shipyard too ( I was "smart" enough just to blow dust from Her to the air ...) . Bad influence of tonight episode of Game of Thrones when son of Lysa Erin said : I want to se it/him fly ... 200W light bulb is so dusted that gives light as bulb 45W strong. Window glass is grey transparent. Coffie had wooden taste. It means that first I have to undust workspace before any painting job trying not to fall out throught Moon door until Gandalf send his Eagle to save me Fortunately, Admiral was not downstairs long ago. If she comes down, even John Snow can not save me of her roaring.- 4,152 replies
