Morning Danny, I never see those needles here. But to be honest, I'll never looked for it I think it's gonna be another visit to the city today. I have no problems with putting the rope to the eyes ,but the chain around the deadeyes are to large. So the deadeye turns everywhere that I don't want. It's only the deadeyes on the mizzenmast. The other ones are bigger and they keep in place. I hope that I can finished those things today and can go further at the main mast. But first into the rain to see if we can find those things.

Thanks Adeline. I have no problems with that. When you've done it for 100 times, you know exactly how it works Mast at the back almost done……. I hate those tiny deadeyes!
-
Thanks for the tutorial Robbyn. The only thing that I still need are those fingers…….

A little update. It goes slow because I don't like those little deadeyes. It seems that they have there own ways to do something! I ask Anja if she wants to make those little things but no, I have to do it by myself…... It looks messy and maybe it is, but I want to finish those THINGS !!!

I'm with you Robbyn, My Mirage have also no futtock things…….. And I have to do also drill a few hole to the cross things (beams) to put in the deadeyes that gives you the opportunity to make shrouds that goes to the middle mast, Wow, Am I typing that? Translation please! So I watch your progress and maybe I will follow you... You are quicker then I'm ( and also younger )

Morning piet, Thanks for the Lazy boy chair…… and I see some Warsteiner…... whoopee! We gonna make pictures for you , no problem at all! There is no singel anymore. Only streets now. And they build a lot of houses! Visiting you is more expensive then visiting Mobbsie…... But, In an few years we want to bring the USA a visit. I wrote somewhere else also but there is one thing I want to see for sure and that's Mesa Verde in Colorado. For the rest it's gonna be visiting a lot of MSW members Maybe I need a break for a year at my company to do that. Or we wait till we where retired…….but that takes 10 years…….

I thought you want to say…..The best way to work safe is not using the tools

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
