  1. Another idea - Vallejo liquid putty (the one in the tube with the really fine nozzle) I used that on my Spit and Mossie, its easy to apply and wipe off the excess before it sets and because the nozzle is so fine and small you can place down a really thin bead of filler. OC.
  2. Evening all, another tiny bit of progress but Two hours lost on this this evening - the Shakos are painted dull black, they have thier hair painted - Two have "Toshes" painted on, the shako plates "horns" are painted, also I have painted thier collars and cuffs - and lastly painted thier tunic buttons - "yep -I'm ciockeyed again" lol. OC.
  3. Thats looking great Kevin - I guess its easier to keep the shape when dealing with square walls. OC.
  4. Sorry to hear of your little set back mate, that is looking so swell - really taking shape. OC.
  5. Amazing work mate not just in execution but also the design for your real galleries - superb work my friend. OC.
  6. I agree with Edward and B.E that looks fine to me mate - to be honest it looks pre made to a high standard and not a first time go, you are making a loverly build mate. OC.
  7. That is looking Brilliant mate - nothing wrong with that - and for your first go at it, I think you have done an amazing job. OC.
  8. Looking really good Denis, something about these type of boats - guess I just like them. OC.
  9. I'm looking forward to this - the idea of a Dio-est type build is facinating. OC.
  10. How about making the Bell Tower square? I have seen a few of those even our old village tower was square, that should help with the brick works. OC.
  11. Hiya buddy, I have a garden swing - good way to watch the build. OC.
  12. I was also thinking the same EG, you gotta stop reading my mind bro - mind you Two minds and all that. OC.
  13. What a great build Denis - I have brought my chair and a powerful set of bins so I can watch from over here, I really wanted a UK RN similar MTB as kid, saw one of the large wood builds that could be set up for R/C fell in love with it but my dad said "No way look at the price" so we ended up with a similar hulled kit of a cabin cruiser Huntsman I think, we........."Erm" my dad built that and I watched. OC.
  14. Welcome to the club Doc, you will fit right in with your build - any quires just shout plenty of us about. OC.
  15. One issue that could crop up with gluing the top halves of the wings to the fuselage first - if the dihedral is out of align after gluing the top wings to the fuselage - it could throw out the lower section when that is offered up and glued, however dry fitting and subtle adjustment could remedy that, but aprt from that I can see the advantage (no join lign or gap ontop) OC.
  16. Hiya Denis, yep I have seen quite a few resin seat sets that are all inclusive of belts etc, will see what happens next year. OC.
  17. I love the datailing in those wheel wells - very realistic. OC.
  18. Very nice work Phil - so much eye bashing work with fine datails. OC.
  19. Tape them and paint them is what I would do mate, looking good by the way - got a realy meaty look to her. OC.
  20. Here is another pic from the site where I will be getting the farm building pack - its made of MDF all un painted needs assembly - then as much weathering and bashing as my heart desires - its gonna get quite a bit as the farm was heavily attacked by both canon and small arms fire. OC.
