Good afternoon Not much to show for this week build time, but slowly progressing, one gun port still to cut in the bow, the lower and middle gun decks have lids made, and in progress of having hinges and vents fitted, hope to have them all done by this time next week, fends are ready for painting all the best

a slight change of subject i have just been looking through the Longbridge book wrt the after davits (yes them again) what are the notches for on the extending arms also just noticed that they move up and down on a pin/hinge

why sorry But i did read in the Keith Jullier (i think) book that the lack of weight on the anchor, made it more difficult to look as if it belonged in the final stowed position

of course the actual dimensions of the real thing could be slightly out as well, the structure would have possibly been altered on the real thing to give any clearances, lol they wouldn't have taken of the pressure hull to fit it
