This battery of guns is a marvelous sight! . . . and a LOT of work 🙂

Thank you, Dirk! Where the color is concerned the hammocks look whiter in the images than they really are. I chose an eggshell colored fabric, the silkspan is kind of yellowish too, and the white glue (in spite of its name 😉) did not really whiten up the end result either. I know, Mondfeld states that the hammocks should be brownish because of all the dirt. But then he also describes the making of a hammock as simply 'folding a little roll of fabric . . . ' ☺️

Jason, Jim, Carl, B.E., thank you so much for your kind words! And thanks for all the 'likes'! After weeks of building nothing else but hammocks I am really happy to have them finished, and encouraged to get this kind of feedback! It is much appreciated.

Your deck fittings look great! They always are a lot of fun. Where the cannon balls are concerned I also had the feeling that the kit provided ones are a bit on the small side and went with 'larger calibers'.

For me adding the bowsprit always changes the looks of a ship's hull completely. Your's looks VERY good!

Gun port lids along with working hinges can be very fiddly. But as usual your end result looks great!

Hello Richard! Great to hear from you again! Your Syren is a beauty! But what happened to your hammocks? I am now stuck with these things 😉
