Hi Carl,

Yes, it is the pigmented epoxy as a basis and acrilic gel for making of the foam. I put a little the white paint with almost dry brush before using of the gel.

Best Regards!

Many thanks, Bob!

I remember about the figure of Captain Slocum. I'll try to do it, but there is almost no free space on the desk nearI'll try to do it, but there is almost no free space on the desk near еру steering wheel :(

Yes, even he Slocum knew it.  In his book he says, "If you ever build something like this move the cabin forward".

The yacht is ready for replace of it in the bottleBest Regards!Igor.

Hi Igor

One word...Wow!!! Your ship looks just marvellous and you must be really proud of it.

There's a wonderful sense of character and atmosphere coming from your model, which is not easy to build into a model, but you've done it in style.

Very nicely done!

Cheers

Hi everyone!

Many thanks for yours good words and likes!

Yesterday, I could not escape one of the nightmares builders of SIB - one of the small but important detail broken off inside the bottle:

I had to find a way to something to replace it:

After quite some time of obscure manipulation inside the bottle back mast was installed:

Hi Igor

I can't believe it! It seems like fate, because you were only saying in your previous post how easily things can go wrong once you've gone past the 'point of no return'. And look what happened!

Nevertheless, it seems like you've made a great save and were able to fix the broken parts. I'm looking forward to seeing your ship finally at rest upon calmer waters.

I think secretly you must be a micro-surgeon?

Cheers

Two hours ago, my wife suggested that I was a micro-surgeon in one of my past lives.

Igor,

Good save of the day. Point of no return ...? Maybe you cannot go back, but it certainly doesn't mean you cannot alter anything. Nothing is definite in your bottles I might add. Did you hire some of Lawrence's crew ....? Don't know about microsurgery ... more like wizardry ... Very well done!!!

Hi Carl!

Thanks for good words!

You discovered the secret of my technology - in fact, you need to put the necessary ingredients in a bottle, shake well and mix thoroughly with special wands and ... voila :)

Best Regards!

Hi Patrick,

Many thanks for your support and words of encouragement!

In fact, my hands are ordinary and they just do what my head is thinking. And in this matter is not all good. :(

I done badly thought out scheme model assembly inside the bottle and, therefore, I had some problems on Saturday. But I will try to accommodate my mistakes.

Now I have to fix all 3 threads inside the bottle and then trim the excess ends. Also, I'm trying to come up with some tool that would allow me to fulfill ability to make some action inside the bottle.

Best Regards!

Igor.
