I"ll try to get everything posted as best as I can. There's a lot of ground to cover, so it might take awhile  to catch up where I'm at right  now.

I know everyone is going thru the same process , patience will be the guide!!!! So, we'll start at the very begining. For those of you that are new to this forum I hope this will be of some help, if not, at least entertaining!

The first group consists of the basic hull construction and the placing of the deck. Extra supports were added on frame 3 and 8 to help support the deck .

The planking begins!!!!  After I finished the first planking I decided not to do the second planking since I was going to weather and paint the hull.

Hello Frank,

That's great. Thanks for reposting your log. Just take your time.

I've reserved my seat in the front row again.

Take care,

Frank, it's good to see you back. From what I remember, there is a lot of posting yet to go for you to catch up. Your build was very memorable to me in that you put some great weathering detail into your Supply and a lot of us don't usually bother with doing it at all. I've always left weathering to my airplanes and tanks.

Hi Frank,

Ah, memories!  Just look at Supply sitting there in the shipyard, back when she was all shiny and new!  As I recall, the years had begun to show on her considerably ;)

I had been away for a bit, but now that I'm back I'll be following along and watching your Supply "age".

Cheers,

Robert

Welcome back, Frank - gonna settle in off to the side here and enjoy the show.  Good clean work to this point, and if i recollect correctly, you had made it quite some distance down the road on this one?

Ok , back again, lets see......  where did I leave off ? Oh Yeah. winches and hatches. Well let's move on to the deck guns and their rigging.

The first couple pictures show the breech rope redone, followed by the rigging of the guns, the last pictures are of the deck with guns and ships  boat in place.

Hi Frank

Thanks to the grounding of those pages I found your log after the restart and realized I really missed something outstanding in the old forums! I love what you do to that poor hull!

But… looking at the pictures, your Supply seems so realistic, it must stink a bit of rotting sea live!?

Do you think the admiralty will let you place such a shabby, smelly old boat in the living room?

It really looks great and I'm looking excitedly forward to what you will do to the rest of the model.

Take care

Peter
