Thanks Don It took a day and half but i cut down the work involved by using the same method i used to fair the frames on my defunct Bounty. Get a belt and using double sided tape stick some sandpaper to it, you can then wrap the belt round the bow and along the edges of the hull and just pull it backwards and forwards.
