While i am waiting for the bow filler blocks to arrive i decided to carry on with the stern

Filler parts added and some filler added to the planking

Stern sanded and shaped and a bit more filler added

Thanks Paul :)

Can't decide weather i would rather bend or sand, all i know is when you first look at it before sanding the first thought in your mind is "no way is that going to become the right shape" :o

But it does :P

That was some major sanding, nice work

Despite the fact that you detest sanding, you've got it rather smooth. Looking at it from this side, it could be like a baby's bum ....

Interesting design. Will you be planking the 2nd layer at the stern?

Thanks Don :)

It took a day and half but i cut down the work involved by using the same method i used to fair the frames on my defunct Bounty. Get  a belt and using double sided tape stick some sandpaper to it, you can then wrap the belt round the bow and along the edges of the hull and just pull it backwards and forwards. Altering the pressure either side as needed keeps it all even :)

So with your trousers at your ankles, you were sanding lustily ... Thank you for tip about the belt, I'll have to get some suspenders as replacement ;)

Hi Bob! I finally got my head out of my a.r.s.e. and had a look around. Great build!

When I got to page 10 I realized I'd forgot to press "like" on the posts. But You know I like them all...  ;)

G'day Bob, you certainly are a whiz with the sanding  :dancetl6: :dancetl6: :dancetl6: , really nice foundation for the second planking,

  best regards John.

Thanks John :)

Sanding is my least favourite part of a build but one of the most important, so i do my best to get it right :)
