So far I have assembled several commercial kits, but I have always wanted to build "from scratch". A year ago I embarked on the construction of HMS Victory from some old plans that I found. I hope to learn a lot from all the teachers here. I also apologize since my English is very basic and I have to use the translator. Good to tell you that with the plans I had and with documentation of the work of other colleagues I have been able to carry out this project. The woods that I am using are of all kinds but more or less the ones that you can find in any kit. In my case I managed to find a lot of wood for modeling for a good price, and they range from pine, manzonia, sapelly, walnut, etc. Any questions I will be happy to clarify.
