Want to thank everyone for all the likes. They mean a lot coming from you. Graham I neglected to thank both you and glenard in my above post, sorry for that. Rob your Stefano is a thing of beauty. Ryland your work is immaculate, your workmanship amazing. Jason had your Snake and Diana logs been available when I built my Snake and Diana my builds would have been so much easier. Lanterns, anchors and anchor buoys mounted last week. The White Ensign hoisted Friday. She’s complete. An overwhelming project but well worth it. At times it seemed she’d never launch - especially with my embellishments - but she’s definitely worth it. Mort

I just finished mine. I hoisted the White Ensign yesterday. She's overwhelming and I mean it in a complementary way if that's the proper English. I'm very happy with her but she's so big that everything everything, everything, is time consuming as there's so much of it. I started mine in late March of 2019 and even without my additions/kit bashes she's a monumental project as the other Victory builds mention, but definitely worth the effort. You are doing a great job. Keep up the wonderful work. Mort

I've always used contact cement along with adequate ventilation. My reasoning is that the plates can be cleaned if necessary with acetone. When applied to the hull you have about 15-30 seconds to adjust them. Once dry should they need to be readjusted they can easily be so by heating them with a soldering iron. Keep up the great work.

No worries. I used 3.5 mm Model Shipways bullseyes for them which I also sanded thinner and drilled out a bit and their 2.5 mm bulleyes for the traveler rings. Can't thank you enough for your input. Mort

Hi Robert, In post #440 3/13/22 it looks like you put hearts or bulleyes around the stop cleats on the bowsprit. Where did you get them and what size are they. I guess they're 3.5 and 5mm. Your build has been a great help to me. Keep up the great work, Mort

I too had issues with the flag lockers. Tried filing the shelf slots and tapering the sides to no avail. Finally ordered another set from Caldercraft and that set fit perfectly together. I love what you did with the skylight. Wish I would have thought of it. Keep up the great work, Mort
