  1. Thanks to Nils, all the Likes!!!

     

    Tody I had to takel Giannas  jibsail. Before that I had to turn some belaynails. 3mm ramin is a good material for this job.

  2. I have try to remove the chimney but I think I will be having more damage .

    So I'll keep it this way.

    When someone ask me about it, I can always say that it is standing on a spindle.......

    You can turn it any time you want !

    How about that solution ? :D:D

    Hello Sjors! She comes very good,I must say.

     

    About the chimney: as I know the chimney can be turned. That.'s fx to be seen on HMS Victory. So it will be ok to show it in the position you choose on your Aga.

    Pincos crew are only six hands and the skipper. Therefore they used such big tackles to work with the latin yards.

  4. Altough Gianna is a smal ship 110 blocks are needed. 

     

    I made the violin blocks konventionel from one piece of wood.

    The others are glued up from layers of 1mm walnut stripes.

    The result is a smal frame from walnut.

    The slices for the smal blocks are made from 3mm soldering wire.
