Thank you Frankie. But I have noticed that. And there are 2 questions to this arrangement of the replica: Is the replica according the original ship.... and ofcourse the answer is most likely to be yes... then the question follows, why the hearts are before the fore mast in such a high position and not after the fore mast, lower and nearer to the bowsprit? That I think would have look more similar to existing paintings of the that time.

Were dead-eyes and hearts tarred? Or they went black due to fact that the tar of the standing rigging ropes came oi contact ?
Ps is there a name for all this (dead-eyes, bull-eyes, hearts etc)standing rigging "blocks without sheaves"? -
Thank you for sharing this treasure with us.

Masts and anchors look great. But in your last picture I have realised how successful is your deck floor! Outstanding.
I notice you got your rope from germany. I bought my rope also from Marx. Very good quality and reasonable price. Do you wax it? How do keep the rope together after cutting it? I use cyanoacrylate glue.

@Louie da fly thank you Steven. Yes on the stern and also on the stem,in the lions hands. You must imagine, the scale is 1/89, so it was impossible to succeed more sharpness. The stem coat of arms is bigger, so its sharper than the one the lion holds.

Thank you very much... its the vallejo paints. "Helmsman", is it the wrong word for referring to the man on the wheel? Propulsion on sailboats is the wind power!😊

@JerseyCity Frankie Frankie I have proceed with the first of the two mainstays as per your clarification..
And as you see I have served all the rope attached to the bowsprit and not partially, as the instructions picture shows.on the contrary the rope attached to the main mast its served only at its upper end.
Thank you again
Christos
