These four pictures show the finished project, under its plexiglass cover . .

Due to reflexions and low light the photos are rather poor, but they still make the idea of how the whole complex appears.

Now the adventure is really over.

A further batch of more detailed images, as my customary, will follow soon.

    A warm greeting, Jack.Aubrey.

    Many thanks for warm words!

Oh yes Greg, treenailing! I'm not sure how to process with. The Quarter deck and Forecastle have less dimensioned beams and the distance between is less that on the Gundeck. If I use the usualy treenail schema with two nails on each beam then, I suppose, it will be too much. I will play with photoshop to see how this will looks:

The second of three planking bands is done.  Any thing that looks like a gap in any joint is probably a shadow.  The third (middle) band contains one drop plank at the bow.  Looking forward to the "whiskey strake".  I've yet to decide if I leave a portion of the planking off on one side to show the frames.

The wales will be planked over the existing planking as defined by the three strakes below the yellow painted planks.

Tim Curtis reacted to Blue Ensign in HMS Pegasus by Blue Ensign - FINISHED - Amati/Victory Models - 1:64 scale
The casing of Pegasus took place yesterday, one of the most stressful operations since constructing the Headworks.
Slipping the cover over Pegasus with only a few mm clearance each side of the Main Studding Booms ends and Jib boom was scary to say the least.

Still all done now, and here she is in her designated place.

Moving on now, to what not quite decided.

Good evening for everyone, work goes on with an important piece on the ship, namely the magnetic compass. The most important part of sailing today is less used thanks to electronic maps and GPS.
At construction we used copper only this time.
A beautiful evening I still want you.

    Adrian,

Despite the unlucky "PHOTOBUCKET" event, and therefore accepted, though with great sorrow, the loss of a wealth of personal memories, I decided that I'll continue with this journal until completion.

Obviously all the previous images are lost, or as we say in italy, are gone to infantry.
So let's imagine to start from now.

I am now building, even if not removable, the so-called "falke". We are still far from completing them, but we already have an idea of how the hull completely changes . . From a boat low on the water we are now facing a high-sided boat, much more suitable for sailing.

Enjoy these images. These should be forever . .
