  1. Greg you have to come up with something better than footy, if there is one passtime I abhor, it is that, I don't even find it to be a sport: a bunch of over paid whimps they are, led by a corrupt set of money minded $%^&, so you are right in what you wrote about footy You may enlighten me (preferably by PM) on "Yanks had a significant impact on us keeping English as our first language in the 1940’s" Polly ... SYF or should I write SYB and sit still
  2. Don't give him more credit than that he's worth, Lou. You are crossing the bounderies ... back to your perch laddy He is still puttin' me down, and rubbin' it in, nbow he's coming up on the Yanks ... how can you expect me to do another joint build !?
  3. Eduard is rubbish for ships. Not for their own airplane kits Never tried Tom's as it didn't deliver what I needed I have a Fly Hawk set for Musashi, not bad but could be better, Pontos' set was better, so I used both of them, as my kit was from the old tool, and the Pontos set was sold as old tool, but only covered the new one Alliance Model Works is expensive, mainly due to shipping. If I need it I truy to buy from ebay. North Star has some nice general PE And there is Atlantic Models which has some sets for Royal Navy models in different scales, which I liked working with
  4. All things considered, sailor-man, nicely done. Those railings really bite you in the hiney when you don't pay attention, or let your concentration wander ... I found the PE in this kit very fragile compared to e.g Pontos PE
  5. Anything in AOTS, you seem to have a stash of those. Interesting build, as per your usual ...
  6. Type of brush? Kind of bristles? Paint brand? You won't be let of the hook that easily, to call yourself an achiever of stupid painting endurance you will have to be at it a lot longer mate, note just a few hours. Besides what you find inacceptable could be well within the margins
  7. So I'll be prepared ... I presume ... You are ready for a clinker built boat Marcus, looks very good, dark green ...
  8. WIth that amount ... you run the risk Daria, Have a nice summer holiday at grandpa and grandma's keep your father in line, he should be continuing his Cromwell
  9. Hahaha, thought you would take the bite. Either I will make the cradle from plexiglass, or mount it on 4 plexiglass stumps, in either case not fixated to it's stand
  10. Didn't know the extend of it. Interesting reading, especially the political references ...
  11. Sublime!!! I have to try it out with all the brass parts which skittered over the desk whilst trying to avoid final entrapment on the model, although, I would probably need a slightly wider hose
