  1. Sorry to hear about the misfortune, Nenad. Hope the damage is limited, and easily repaired.
  2. Don't indulge on the diet products (like diet sodas), neither your body nor your nervous system do respond to well to a lot of artificial sweetners. It actually is quite a list. How is the last part of cleaning moving along?
  3. You know you really confirm the established impression of Americans: You only eat burgers and drink coke ...
  4. Looks like the vertical part can be lowered, which also would lower the arm. The winch might be below deck as well, although the latter is not very practical ...
  5. I am curious as to how things will evolve EG By the way, what's that "Carl's" thing on your bench?
  6. Sewing thread in the required colour would do the trick. If it's to thin just twist one or more strands to the required thickness. I created a chain for 1;96 dolphin striker by making knots, one after another on a piece of sewing thread.
  7. I know Bob, it looks real smooth, hence my remark for future reference
  8. Right, I forgot: No airbrush! I used Ak xtreme metals with a brush ... you just have to shake the bottle frequently ...
  9. Bob, well done. If you have tiny scratches you can also use Mr.Surfacer 500 (also available in rattle can)
  10. Did somthing go wrong? I can't see any damage! Very well saved, wefalk. As I found out, you'll probably find the missing piece when you no longer need it, and least expect it
  11. Not really. It is the usual unexpected behaviour which is normal. Fair chance it is a misconfigured route on one of the nodes
  12. Sharp eye, Jan. When I look at the black and white bands I would say so ... bit I just can't read the name on the bow
  13. Kurt is right Bob. You will be irritated or very annoyed in the future, if you do not correct the problem. Every time you look at that hull ...
  14. Mr Paint has a two component lacquer which might do the trick ... but that will be testing yet again
  15. If you mask on "powdered" layers, and after putting decals on, first cover with clear varnish
  16. EG if you use Chrome or Firefox on a Windose system press F12 , you get the development tool, go to the Network tab and refresh the page you are having trouble with, look at the http status code 200 400 or 500 series. 200 is OK for fetching the page or data, the remainder refer to either wrong url's (400) or an error on the server (500) Look at the console tab and find out what didn't load for scripts, which could be a problem. The MSW site's pages are riddled with supportinhg scripts - as a matter of fact most web sites are - when you have a slow connection that might be a source of the problem
  17. I have quite a few of "Le gendarme de St Tropez" movies on DVD, I love Louis de Funes, "il est vraiment phénoménal", and the nun in her 2CV
  18. Strange, I like British vintage cars .. but yes, there are quite some 2CV's still running daily on our roads, with the odd Mehari as an ugly duckling
  19. Not to shabby mate. Is it the photograph, or my screen calibration, but the tires look almost the same colour as the hubs
  20. Quite so, Canute! I have about finished the 28 books from the Bolitho series for the 8th time by now! Chop, chop, mate
