  1. OC I use a stick up it's nose with a lot of bluetack to hold the plane, in that way I can twist and turn the body and wings any which way I want
  2. a straw, and a valve to connect the straw to in your mask, and a teat on the inside ...
  3. We all have our crosses to bear my friend, wheather they be wood or plastic meand'ring groove evidence of life's burden
  4. Smooth model for the bumpy road you travelled to get here, mate. Quite an accomplishment, I dunno if I would have finished it like you, probably binned it out of sheer frustration. Well done, lovely bird
  5. "fiddly"!? You should be used to it by now ... Quite a lot of the fragile parts on that bridge
  6. Keith, could be Lipton pyramid like bags. wefalk, That is some very fine detail on such a scale ... I wouldn't even consider it myself, very impressive, you seem to be master of miniature
  7. Thanks for the likes and comments gents Mike, I have a roden kit which I used for spare parts as it really was deformed and had some parts not really fully formed. However, I do like the Eduard and Revell kits. The Eduard is just slightly bigger than the Revell, oodly enough, so I will have to take my measuring apparatus and find out which size is closer to the scale. The advantage of Eduard over Revell has to do with the PE you can get with some kits, or can order for certain kits. However, the PE for 1/72 is mostly restricted to the cockpit, and I find it rather expensive compared to what you get. Eduard has some BRASSIN additions for planes which are very nice, not very cheap, but you can improve your kit a lot.
  8. Thanks Mike, it still is easier than the 1/48 with a lot more PE
  9. Missing fingers ... if you are lucky you've got a middle finger left
  10. So is "Shattered Sword" but these latter two are quite a different genre Not in the others like Yamato and such?
  11. In the dark you forgot OC. I would prefer with your eyes closed firmly, that gives an additional incentive when cutting with a scalpel
  12. Looks almost like a sub in the last photograph ... next build ... a German sub like Yves built ... Shading came out very well, even on the dark surface, you seem to be able to keep improving on yourself with every build (by the way, I loved Musashi from Eiji Yoshikawa, red it four times, do you have the book of five rings?)
  13. HArdly worth the trouble if you throw them out anyway Like those bomb doors, and the entrance with their small looking glasses
  14. I made mine almost the same, a bit lighter though, and bought a spinning centre for a lathe It seems I didn't put it back on in the jigs section after the crash on MSW 1.0. Thanks for showing, now I know how I can add a rest for the chisel
  15. Thank you , Steven. Interesting context it has. Besides scuttlebud - or as Pat prefers water cooler - it can be "an erroneous or improbable story that is claimed to be factual". At first I only thought about the container, but you downundah have your way with words Sorry for derailing your thread ... yet again
  16. It is overwhelming, really beautiful. I have just one question with reference to the led strip. Aren't you afraid it will be very clear with so many leds?
