  1. Håkan, How is life ... hope everything is alright ... it's rather quiet on this topic without you!! Cheers
  2. Patrick, If I were Mark I would use it for meself and no one else ... lest I wouldn't have time to work on me own projects!!! Besides, all the hassle you've got to count those stacks of money The midnight oiling to get deliveries out and meet demand ... nope, not worth it after retirement
  3. Mark, You're Scottish ... ah no, you're Dutch ... Nope, definitely not ... You just use your common sense mate!!! Cheers
  4. Johann, If it isn't what you imagined, it already exceeds what I did ... masterful, she will be very classy! Cheers,
  5. Huge improvement on the rings Mobbsie. Well done on the caulking paper. Looks pretty good, as do bulwarks, waterways and planking ... You'll catch up mate, Grant can't keep that pace ... (I hope for you though )
  6. When I look at the bow's shape, I would sooner think about stealers and half stealers ... though it doesn't sound logical ...
  7. And I thought you had very tall sailors, Jason ... just kiddin' ... your work does you honour!
  8. Nice sharp cutting .. I couldn't do those parts on a scrollsaw either, at least not in those sizes ... fortunately I don't need to Those laseercutters are still quite expensive at this side of the pond ... same goes for the Byrnes machines ... sigh
  9. Mick, What would modelbuiling be without the helping eye and supportive criticism ... that said, where would be the fun in starting a topic ... I like the progress anyway!
  10. Siggi, Wunderbar ... looking good. The panels are clearly visible
  11. Hmmm ... fireplace ...I thought sailors got the shivers when talking fire ... where will you stash the wood Great detail Patrick. She's developing rather nicely ... curious about the stove and kitchenette ...
  12. Johann, As Mick already wrote: A delight to follow such a masterclass! Like the colour of the wood a lot.
  13. Very nice Bob. I like the solution to get the planked deck flush. Cheers
  14. Mark, As far as I can see it should be about perfect. If you'd go on, you might take off to much ...
  15. Siggi, Using two colours distracts from the carved paneling, especially on such a small scale. Since you've carved the paneling, you get different shades in your colour anyway, due to the reflection of light. It will look more natural when you use a single colour, and you can still see your 'handy' work. P.s. I like the colour, keeps it bright
  16. Wait for the granddaughters ... or do they need digital dollhouses nowadays ...
  17. On the road again ... Mark, you said it yourself, since it's still reachable, you can add some thickness when you are taking off more than you like ... still looking solid
  18. Excellent work Patrick. Lucky you're not building dollhouses, you'd be at it continually with your prowess ...
  19. Considering the 'tubiness' ... probably pulled the plug ...
  20. Grant, Very nice details. Different woods different problems, but you seem at ease ... It seems Mobbsie'll need to switch from slippers to his running shoes A question considering the mortar pit: "What happens with the water which get into it ... I see no drain, and a pump isn't really practical ... just curious ..."
  21. It's a tough choice, Mark ... A 'refaire' (nearly same pronunciation i.c. French ... being a multilinguist is sometimes fun) or later mebby a vs 3.0 ...
  22. Love it, the difference between the rooms, and especially the compass needles. Did you do it on the PC or manual labour ...?
