  1. Greg, Which one are you using .. Websters??? Collins or is it a thesaurus you've got in front of you ... As long as it is clear enough to get the meaning ... isn't it ... Johann is crafting a masterful small build as Mick so eloquently wrote ... so I too lift my (original Aussie) hat to Johann
  2. The planking looks marvelous, looking forward to see the sanded version ... I see you've been toasting wood again ... that long boat looks like a real challenge ... you could have tried Johann's (Archjolo) method if you wanted more meat ...
  3. Johann, You call that an attempt ...!?!?!? I would be thrilled to have that as a final result ...!
  4. Not bad for a freshman A very impressive build, Patrick. I'm sorry to see her finished, for it was a very interesting and surprising (from time to time) build. I'm glad I can look it up, to get some inspiration!!! Cheers mate
  5. What's left to say ... what could one say ... splendid work, Johann. I'm glad you made such an extensive log about the cahloupe!!!
  6. Marvelous, terrific (suddenly pops to mind)!!! So much detail on such a small item ...
  7. Thank you for the build log ... the reading ... I'm enjoying your build immensly!! So, I'm waiting everytime - impatiently - for an update ..!
  8. Very poor, Patrick ... the excuse ... You should have said it fell of, because you do not have enough body to glue such a heavy item on, and your pondering about making an 'axle' to fit it properly ... It remains an awesome job Cheers mate
  9. Bob, Love the model ... both of them ;-) ... the socket/base plate might be a tad bigger for my taste though ... looks a bit disproportionate ... too feeble in comparison
  10. Nice finish JesseLee. Looks rather smooth ... like you've been holystoning it on your knees ...
  11. The same goes here in Holland with the dikes alongside rivers agains fall and spring floods ... they think they can build in the floodplaines ... one wonders why such a name has been choosen ... Controling a river's boundaries is hardly possible to stop I imagine, it's a bit like holding back the tide ...
  12. JesseLee, Jupz, that's a model boat under construction ... Looking good ... you got the bit about the computer right as well!!!
  13. Hmmm, you're certain you didn't 3D print it, are you ... it really looks amazing, Patrick Cheers
  14. Must have durt in my eyes ... can't see the difference ... the both look marvelous!!
  15. Nice work, especially on such a small scale,Piet. Looks like you cut an opening for viewing inside ;-). Those gun lids, blocks and carriages look stunning. Couldn't match it, even if I wanted to! Cheers
  16. Slowly but certain ... no rush, else you might have to redo what you've already done
  17. That's a pretty sight, Siggi. Looks very good ... you'll tackle the knees in good time ... I'm certain
  18. Jack, New challenges are nice ... it prepares you for the work to be done, because you can start fresh, with an 'empty' mind!!
  19. Igor, She really is coming to life ... I expect that you won't see big mistakes, because they are to big to see, so we can only see the small mistakes - which you do not make, at least you haven't shown any as jet!!! Truly magnificent
