    Right, and thanks Antony, I have a bunch of ideas still to integrate into my version. Momentarily I`m doing some trials with a set of sweeps, that will pass through the oar ports (as demo) in the stb. bulwark, but only on one side. BTW, as you showed interest for a nice trade junk build, I have this link of a seagoing Hainan junk model of 1834 for you that I found on the web some days ago. Christos, I searched at Ebay for a 3D size suitable necklace-charme that could fit either in right or left mode.... Piet, no "antique sawing" in this case, I was happy that I need`nt do any carving on it... Antony, thanks for your kind words, I`m glad you like it... Basically its still after the enlarged Amati plan, but with individual fitting out and some changes... Nils

    Update :... fitted decore fries and handrail on the stb. poop deck. The solution with the soldered brass pins works out quite well.... Also fitted a handrail all around the gun deck Nils the mermaid is holding a starfish in hands. What looks like she is having two horns are the remains of the charms hanging / holding loop. I use this for fastening the top to the cap rail...., providing more stiffnesss

    Thanks for your input on this Denis, yes, it would be an alternative to drill holes through the poop deck bulwarks...., I`ll keep that in mind... Nils

    Many thanks Antony, you are encouraging me to use them... I`m thinking of a way to fasten the decore rails, maybe with soldered against brass pins, that at the same time hold the cap-rail in place.... Nils

    Thanks John, I think the ornamental brass rails may be a tiny bit too high, because there will be 2 swivel guns on on each side with timber posts mounted from the inside to the railiing, so that they can swivel over the cap rail. I`ll leave the hights as they are though. Front side of the poop deck there will also be 2 swivel guns mounted, in combination with a ballustrade.... Nils

    Update : I still had some brass srtipes with fancy decore, I found on Ebay some months ago. Trust they will be stylish right for the Chebec. Now they can come to use on the rail of the poop deck, with a wooden rail on top. Not mounted yet, just dry fit, to see how it looks.... Nils
