  1. Hi All, Well I tried this before, but what the hay, let’s try it again. Same plane, same kit. Forewarning, I’m not as fast as the master on this card area forum and he has a gozillian years of card modeling time, I am a rank beginner, please bear with me. I also have probably too many other interests that do keep me occupied. Below is the kit and last year's attempt and all planes start with the cockpit, be they paper, plastic or wood. Dave
  2. OUTSTANDING Sir! You almost need another with the wings spread! 👍 😀
  3. Fleet aircraft for sure. Seen some flying time. 👍😀
  4. Hi Andrew, and everyone else, Yes the Snake build is on hold. This past winter, when I was planning on getting the shipyard resurrected, I decided to build another guitar. Last year I also ventured into card modeling (which I picked up on this forum). Spring is here now, I’m back out in the garden, tending the fruit trees and the vineyard. However, I do keep active on the forum as I love watching everyone’s work. Total transparency here, I was a plastic airplane modeler as a kid and that one never went away and this forum has a room for non-ship endeavors. I spend a lot of time there. 😀 The Snake is on one of my bench tops in the man cave and I see it every time I go in there and one day, I’ll just start working on it. 😀 Dave
  5. It’s really all for you and the photos for us to see the work and the detail before “skinning” it, never to be seen again. 😊
  6. Outstanding Ed! Man, that’s a build all in itself for sure. Great work! 👍😀 Dave
  7. I’m late. 🥤🍿 Man you post a lot of photos in a short amount of time! 👍😀
  8. Absolutely insane! I can’t say “top shelf” anymore unless you only have one shelf… that goes completely around the inside of your house. 👍👏😀
  9. All that beautiful cockpit work, the blood, sweat and tears, the detail, the patience…. All covered up! Thank goodness we have photos! 😁
  10. Thanks Ed. I’m book marking your work for sure. My shipyard is still here, I’ve just found more to do being retired than I ever thought I would. Gardening, small vinyard, guitar making and playing, trap shooting, reloading, housekeeping stuff, hanging out with my best friend (wife), always doing something. As you progress with the rigging, we’ll talk. Dave
