Here is the start  of the building.

I will work in parallel with SoS

I also made a small jig to cut planks equal and quicker

I made some pictures from the plans.

There are too big to scan on a normal scanner, so i will put photos for the one interested

After 40 year of television, i retired, and ai received this Gift from my old team.

I started asap because i wanted to sow respect to my team. (Even i was working to my Sovereign..)

So this is the kit

Hi Paul, it is an excellen kit (after you finish), but for the moment i work hard with

some problems with the brass parts. Some are bad finished ibn the kit, some are a little bigger (the scale is  a little different for wood parts and for bras)

Hope at the end to be ok.

Had a few moments to finish the 10 deck guns

It seams ok, and for instructions, you can find more accurate new instructions, and also good logs here. I look to all logs to learn from all that buil Sovereign (and also some other ships)

Hi to all, it seams that now part of the problems are gone.

One "small problem" is that i want and have to stay with the 3 grandchildren, and even i am "retired" from job, since the end of the year, i have just a few momens for me and my hobby.

I like to stay with the small kids (even now, i prepare to go with the smallest - 1.4 year to park and snoe), and hope to heve more time to work

hi Don,  glad to see you too, and hope to have mo time from now, as i am a "retired" man, but i love the 3 grand children, and i have to spend with all a lot of time. Started a small building with Mantua 740 combat pozt, and i want to build this with my 7 year grand daughter Raisa

The final part with the 24 guns.

Working to the guns. Sanding, Making holel, finishing.

Started the guns, some parts i painted, while waiting some other to wet after glueing

For the first set of guns, i made a small "jig" and cut some parts

Also i made some small sanding tools.

I had to "sand" 84 beams for the deck

After a very long pause to my SoS, obliged by "repaint the house", after flooding of my house, some problems with the children and grandchildren, a very small holiday, and health problems with my mother in law, i came back, a little to my hobby

Started with small parts, to regain dexterity. Cuted some parts and sanding

For the laser printing it came with a basic software, very, good. For carving,it came with the "sending commands software - GRBL) and you have to prepare what to carve. Also for carving, you have two software that came with the CNC. One to prepare "leter carving" and one more sophisticated , ArtCam, for better work. You also have on DVD a program for carving on PCB. It is ok for the start, and if you want to do more things, you have to use some other. I work on graphics on computer, and i think that for most of us it is ok with what it is on DVD

I had a little time to try carving with my new CNC

It take some time to see the software adjustments, so i can "link" some draw and carving software
