Hello Theo, Just have a look here. In the first thread of the topic, Dan Vadas explains how the fix gaps in planks. Yours aren't really gaps, but you might give it a try to smooth out the surface of the hull. http://modelshipworld.com/index.php?/topic/814-how-i-fix-boo-boos-and-oopsies-by-dan-vadas-share-your-own-fixes-here/ Good luck, Anja

Hello Algay, That is good advise Tom gave you. My advise to you is to start a buildlog of your own and post pictures. That way it will be much clearer for everyone to understand what your question or problem is and how they can advise you. You can start a buildlog here: http://modelshipworld.com/index.php?/topic/53-before-you-post-your-build-log-please-read-this-starting-and-naming-your-build-log/ Good luck. Anja

Thanks for the tip Jan, I've thought of that too. We have the harbour close by, so that should't be a problem. May give it a go coming weekend. Anja

Thanks Adrieke, This one wasn't easy. But it's much more fun this way. I searched for general cargo, but it was't until I typed in the gross tonnage, that I could find her. I wish I could find a difficult one sometimes. Anja

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
