A little update. The decorations on the port side gallery are on it. It looks if the windows are not straight but that's an angle of the picture. There are frames in the wood where you have to put the windows in. It can not goes wrong ( except for me then ) Sjors

Thanks Popeye and Frank, @ Popeye, You are right. Every time when you put something on her after the painting, coppering ,planking she looks more and more as a living creature I hope she don't eat to much !!!!! @ Frank, It is really a lot of work but that's what I like. When I build only small ships I have now a BIG armada in the house and no place to live anymore..... And Anja has to dust all the time Opes, warning points !!!!!!! Sjors

Thanks all, One thing is surprising me....... That you are thinking that I'm fast...... I thought I go slowly ! The deck furniture was all ready done for a while and was waiting in the finish box. I only have to put it in the right place..... From now it really goes slow. I want to finish the decorations on the transom before I go starting at painting the cannons and rig them.... Only 10 for the lower gun deck but still...... And then of course a touch up on all the paintwork around the ship..... But, no rush, I have time enough Sjors

After 2 weeks vacation I have to go to work again..... The little free time that I had I have done something...... Deck furniture on the lower gun deck is placed like: Gratings, Stove, Ladders and beatings. And when i was waiting for some glue to dry, I have painted the windows for the transom and the quarter gallery's. And because the glue was not dry yet, I have place them in the frames. And because it's early dark, not the best pictures. I wanted to do it now otherwise you have to wait till wednesday or thursday...... Sjors

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
