Lookin' really good, Nigel ... and she's only going to look even better once you've decked her out with the red sails.

If all goes according to plan, we will capture the presentation on video and share it as the final posting of this build. I can hardly wait to see the look on his face.
I'll definitely be grabbing a large box of popcorn and laying claim to a seat in the front row for THAT show !!

I'll go along with learning a bit from the build, but indeed a lot more about the way the Aussies talk Down Under.
What I mean is that your King's English is a bit dated. Are you perhaps from the Perth area?
What-eth so ever couldst thou mean-eth, my Goodly Man ??
And where is this "Perth" of which ye doest speak ??
I thought Perth was in Scotland.
Yes, Stevy-boy, your are on the right path to stardom with a stern like that.
"Arr ... thank ye, Jay !!" said CaptainSteve, blushing most deeply.
But a-fore Our Hero be getting ahead o' his ownself with all this newly-acquired stardom, mayhaps some progress .. some proof-of-life wouldst be in order.
"Well ... erm ... ahh," he were seen to blather, blushing even deeper than beforehand. "That is, umm, well," Our Hero tried to explain.
"Y'see, most of what has been done has, erm, needed to be re-done. And re-re-done. Numerous times, even."
For now, CaptainSteve has been playing with his newest Proxxon toy (the Scroll Saw), and working on the scantlings for the Captain quarters and galleries.
(Look, George !! I finally got to use that word !!)
"I be working on a proper update fer ye, I doth promise," he were to a-vow.
"I be leavin' ye with this, as a teaser", he didst state, in closing.

Sam. Going by your pictures, I'm assuming that the middle stanchion in your post above (#529), is the same as the one shown in post #525. If so, and if the choice were mine, then I'd be "over-coming" the problem by selecting the one on the right-side of #529.
But, then again, that's just me ...

CaptainSteve can you explain me the steps again my English is not very well but it sounds interesting the guide that you wrote
Also I didn't understand what you wrote about the levels (what levels mean?)
Thank you
Michael.
Michael,
Unfortunately, I did not keep the templates I had made once the filler blocks were done. All I did was to trace these templates from my plans ...
Starting with the upper picture of Detail 2-H above, each of four templates would be cut from the left-hand side, and going through to the relevant curved line.
When transferred to card and cut-out, these are then held against the hull at the relevant levels (see lower picture of 2-H). They will indicate if your filler block still requires more trimming ...
Hope that helps, and maybe others have better pictures of this process !!
