  5. Thank you kindly Denis, yes Rye Field Models are Superb with so much detail - deffo recommend them to anyone wanting to do an armoured kit. OC.
  6. I would have to measure it - but at a guess 3-4mm. Here is a close up showing the roof section after they have painted it (red is not supposed to be the correct colour - from online sorces the oppionion is they were Grey). OC.
  7. Thank you brother for keep finding this info - really will help my build plan. OC.
  8. Thanks Ken, the roof in the MDF kit is just that - flat MDF with at best lines scored to replicate tiles, and at worst just pened in, there are no individual tiles. OC.
  9. I once had an F117 Stealth kit same issue - tail sitter - do you think I could find some (fitting) nose weight for it.😁 OC.
  10. Thank you EG. Edward thats put some things into context - food for thought, quite a few decisions regarding the time frame during the day I want to show early on and the damage to the farm was limited but later on towrds the late afternoon is when the French attempted to set fire to the barn if not the farm to draw the KGL out. OC.
  11. Whats your trick for getting the tire weight inpressions? mine is to fix them in place then to rub the plane gently on a fine wet and dry sheet on a flat surface. OC.
  12. Evening all, so work continues on the rear engine cover, this time I assembled and placed the barrel brace for when the tank is in stoawge position, I also added a few more fitting including the reat stowage bins - these are lovely moulding including the locks. OC.
  13. Wonderful Patrick another splendid addition to your collection. OC.
  14. Thank you brother, do you think they would have had insendery devices fired out the French Canons as surely a bog standard canon ball would not have caused a fire? OC.
  15. These are contermpory drawings from the time showing the Grey slate roofs and a good amount of damaged Whitewash coming off the walls showing the Brickworks. OC.
  16. Ken, EG, all the roofs were flat Grey tiled. OC.
  17. I didn't realize that brother - right then I will do this version as seen on exercise in Germany. OC. Not my pic.
  18. Thank you Edward, yep I will be test fitting stuff in the turret soon not sure if the assembly will convert straight across from one kit to the other, the turret rings might be a differnt diameter, I will no doubt have to do abit of fettling to get it to fit. OC.
  19. Very tidy paitwork Denis, especially around the glazing, how are you doing my friend hope your health is holding up. OC.
  20. Thank you Ekis, I'm not sure how big the damage was as info on it is a bit sketchy - they just say the French attempted to set fire to the Barn Roof and it was only by the KGL using kettles from the pond - that rescued the roof before it could go to far. OC.
