Evening all , I managed pull myself back down to earth and back on my figures, I have been painting the heads touching in thier sideburns, then the Shako's with thier plates and braides, then the Blue colours on there lapels and cuffs, I also painted the haversacks and straps in the sand colour - slowly getting there. I used to own this Ibanez SR I had a small practice amp and used to practice in the room with phones on, then when I wanted to record I would hook the amp up to my laptop and use one of my instrument recording apps like Reaper, then adjust to tast in Wavepad. My main VST Virtual synth is a Fab Jupiter8 copy, also have a Moog VST they are brilliant for messing about. OC.

Indeed Ken, It was about an hours worth consisting of Two of my own digital synth recording using VST (laptop) synths, a recording I did with my good friend Luke James ex Fashion Group, Two of Fashions songs from the late 70s, Two from UB40 from the early 80s, Two from a good friend and his tribute band of Duran Duran, and One from Duran Duran. I was very humbled to be asked. OC.

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
