  8. What a great build Denis - I have brought my chair and a powerful set of bins so I can watch from over here, I really wanted a UK RN similar MTB as kid, saw one of the large wood builds that could be set up for R/C fell in love with it but my dad said "No way look at the price" so we ended up with a similar hulled kit of a cabin cruiser Huntsman I think, we........."Erm" my dad built that and I watched. OC.
  9. Welcome to the club Doc, you will fit right in with your build - any quires just shout plenty of us about. OC.
  10. One issue that could crop up with gluing the top halves of the wings to the fuselage first - if the dihedral is out of align after gluing the top wings to the fuselage - it could throw out the lower section when that is offered up and glued, however dry fitting and subtle adjustment could remedy that, but aprt from that I can see the advantage (no join lign or gap ontop) OC.
  11. Hiya Denis, yep I have seen quite a few resin seat sets that are all inclusive of belts etc, will see what happens next year. OC.
  12. Tape them and paint them is what I would do mate, looking good by the way - got a realy meaty look to her. OC.
  13. Here is another pic from the site where I will be getting the farm building pack - its made of MDF all un painted needs assembly - then as much weathering and bashing as my heart desires - its gonna get quite a bit as the farm was heavily attacked by both canon and small arms fire. OC.
  14. Thats a really interesting way of doing your sea mate - never seen that before - looking good. OC.
  15. Tell me about it Ken, even made my eyes go cockeyed - my right eye is now looking left - and my left is looking right - did a good job of slowing my heart rate and breathing down though while trying to keep a 5/0 brush steady.😰 OC.
  16. Evening all, Three hours work this evening just painting the haversacks and straps and then touching in where I had gone over the Green coats slightly - where does the time go when you are concentrating. OC.
