  1. Hiya buddy, I have a garden swing - good way to watch the build. OC.
  2. I was also thinking the same EG, you gotta stop reading my mind bro - mind you Two minds and all that. OC.
  3. What a great build Denis - I have brought my chair and a powerful set of bins so I can watch from over here, I really wanted a UK RN similar MTB as kid, saw one of the large wood builds that could be set up for R/C fell in love with it but my dad said "No way look at the price" so we ended up with a similar hulled kit of a cabin cruiser Huntsman I think, we........."Erm" my dad built that and I watched. OC.
  4. Welcome to the club Doc, you will fit right in with your build - any quires just shout plenty of us about. OC.
  5. One issue that could crop up with gluing the top halves of the wings to the fuselage first - if the dihedral is out of align after gluing the top wings to the fuselage - it could throw out the lower section when that is offered up and glued, however dry fitting and subtle adjustment could remedy that, but aprt from that I can see the advantage (no join lign or gap ontop) OC.
  6. Hiya Denis, yep I have seen quite a few resin seat sets that are all inclusive of belts etc, will see what happens next year. OC.
  7. I love the datailing in those wheel wells - very realistic. OC.
  8. Very nice work Phil - so much eye bashing work with fine datails. OC.
  9. Tape them and paint them is what I would do mate, looking good by the way - got a realy meaty look to her. OC.
  10. Here is another pic from the site where I will be getting the farm building pack - its made of MDF all un painted needs assembly - then as much weathering and bashing as my heart desires - its gonna get quite a bit as the farm was heavily attacked by both canon and small arms fire. OC.
  11. Thats a really interesting way of doing your sea mate - never seen that before - looking good. OC.
  12. Tell me about it Ken, even made my eyes go cockeyed - my right eye is now looking left - and my left is looking right - did a good job of slowing my heart rate and breathing down though while trying to keep a 5/0 brush steady.😰 OC.
  13. Thank you kindly Phil. pleased that your looking in mate. OC.
  14. Evening all, Three hours work this evening just painting the haversacks and straps and then touching in where I had gone over the Green coats slightly - where does the time go when you are concentrating. OC.
  15. Evening all, a bit more progress - I got them primed Two coats brush coated, then I painted thier Green jackets. OC.
  16. Yep its a sprue of Two figures with seperate arms - One has the Two arms attached to the rifle, and the other are a seperate arm holding the rifle and an arm with clenched fist, I have about Five sets of them and they are all the same moulding and arm positions, the heads are seperate also - so in theory if the arms were placed in the same position - there would be just the Two positions. None of these show firing positions to do I would have to use the other figures arms but alter thier cuffs. OC.
  17. Evening all, right I have the next Five KGL Light infantry assembled - I tried to vary the poses of them a bit as they only come in Two position varieties so I just had to move thier arms around a bit. OC,
  18. Hi Phil, loving your canons (as I always do) you push the boundaries and create little pieces of art - keep up the great work my firend. OC.
  19. Thank you kindly Ken, I will be leaning on folk for direction and advice when I start on my scenery as I have never done anything like this before. OC.
  20. Certainly adds more life to the build with the elavators lowerd, and what you say about a "Flying part" off your kit when working on it - so fits in to probably all of our work practices - wouldn't be normal unless something going missing. OC.
  21. Great cars for the money and tons and tons of spares back then - but "Wow" was they rust buckets. OC.
