anyone any good ideas for getting some decent indoor phots of my build - the mancave is proving very hard to get decent shots due to cluuter, and not the best lighting

Finished the fitting of the shrouds on the foremast lower, and made a jig to keep the dead eyes at more or less the same distance, but raised them slightly higher than the plans suggest - looks as if they are higher in real life and some of the other builds i follow

Good evening everyone today was perhaps the best spent three hours i have ever had on this build, thoroughly enjoyed it, i can confirm lol that me mojo is here to stay Foremast Standing rigging 1st two lines sets os lines to be placed are spliced and run down the port and stbd sides - these do not form ports of the shrouds I have found the mast to work on easier away from the build the next ten lines to be placed form two shrouds each, each pair goes to the same side, and the one above it then goes to the alternative side

struggling taking decent photo.s in the man cave - will try better tomorrow, Im making hard work out of this - but thorougly enjoying it i am finding following the kits plans absolutely useless, most of the lines are tied off which means they served no purpose, tomorrow i will also label up the photo's

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
