    After watching a video clip about full size plank bending where they used distilled vinegar, I thought to give this a shot. I am so happy I found that trick as it worked out very well for me. Vinegar breaks down the molecules and softens the wood, applying heat to get the curves and bending and you have the shape. The distilled vinegar doesn't change the color of the wood. Application time about 10 minutes

    Interesting tool, now that I have a mill this is some I would like to try to recreate. Oh, by the way, did someone said, "we are suckers for tools"?🙂

    I have used the same urethane on one of my rc yachts with good results. That is a beauty, nice job!

    Justaguyinvegas, I like your log, however one thing I would had done before any decking commenced, I would have epoxied the inside of the hull. This to eliminate some possibility for the water to come through. However, the finish does look amazing.

    Roy, I have two models of San Felipe, both inherited and started, the smaller came with two SF-boxes with items hopefully to make one complete ship. Please get back to your build as it looks really good.
