  1. And sometimes you build something without any build log, say it is a rather fast build - or a built that has been laying around for a while that was missing some details. I can see one would upload directly to the gallery instead of creating a small and short build log. Just my two cents....
  2. I would use the model and create a battle diorama; the damage is there already.....🙃
  3. She is a big ship, 1:200 is an impressive scale and will definitely show details. The PE details will also be easier to handle. Is she about 1300mm long?
  4. The deck looks really nice, but if you pull your finger along the planks you will find how rough they are, this as the fibergrains has risen. Now use aluminium wool as a sander and your deck will be smooth and getting a shine.

  6. John, I don't know for how long they have had this misprint, all the Bluenose build logs has had the same box cover and why it says solid hull is a mystery. Your Bluenose is looking very nice, mine is at a standstill. The coldness in the garage doesn't help either.
  7. Paul, I know that the 1/350 scale version has a latitudinal dividing. Thought Trumpeter would had the with the 1/200 scale....... Okay, I will come out from the grey zone, I recently got the 1/350 scale version. That along with trumpeter small PE set, along with wood deck set and Flyhawk PE set. Your build even though a different scale will help me.
  8. Very nice Paul! Was the hull one full unit or did it come in parts? Looking forward seeing the progress.
  9. Chuck, now that is a very nice view from your new shop. Good luck with closing and packing everything with the reversed at your new location.
  10. Blackfoot - no matter the material you like to build or the scale, I am happy to say
  11. Use the "Other Media" button in lower right corner above the "Submit Reply" button and you can do all the inserts.
  12. Eric, I did a quick research on the Dhow and found this link for you. History and Construction of the Dhow I don't know if you got it before, hope it can be helpful.
  13. Eric, when I read the log name starting with Sultan lead me directly to the band Dire Straits and their song Sultans of Swing, Just like the song your start of your Sultan looks good. Does it have double planking?
  14. Thanks for the nametag designer link, I have a 3d printer and will use it.

  18. Greg, as a matter of fact that looks more realistic with the listing. Glad she didn' sink.
  19. Are you going to make her RC or static? You are into a good start.
  20. Greg, I am at loss of words of how good this looks. Are you to add some radio-active oozing on top of the water? Have a nice holiday.
  21. Stökig hobbyrum? Cluddered workshop? Then your Santa has been early, the Santa of mine will not be here for another couple of days - and I bet I was on the naughty list, so my workshop won't be touched. Anyway, that mast looks incredible and your workshop as well. God Jul till dig och familj.
  22. From the Pacific NorthWest a holiday greeting and
