It's very likely it is the Harvey from Artesania Latina, I recognise the "pottys" at the bow. John, a very warm -

1876 Parcel van by michael mott
Nirvana replied to michael mott's topic in Non-ship/categorised builds
Michael, your skill with brass is outstanding. If I could accomplish a fraction of what you are doing, I would be happy with my result. -
No plastic model is perfect, even with the latest technology. Toni, I bow my head to you for overcoming these issues. Getting paint correct is another problem all of us are having hard time with.

Toni, you are amazing - taking on one project after another. Mentioning projects, I should go back to mine.......🙃

Saw my dentist the other day and asked him about his glasses. They are custom made for each dentist as none of their eyes are the same. However, the magnification of is 25x and he had look at teeth from 24 inches away still having everything sharp. Cost - a staggering 2500 dollars, so find the best glasses with magnification to your budget. I am using Opti-Visor which works good but the headband is too stiff to be comfortable.

Nirvana replied to Olaf's topic in Painting, finishing and weathering products and techniques
Olaf, thanks for the videos, I would recommend everyone to use the technique from the last video. I have been doing somwthing similar. But this is the way to go. -
Very nice review, but when watching this video my low point was the person reviewing the kit. There were several places where he stumbled on definitions of parts. That being said, I still like to get one of the Sherbourne kit some day. I truly believe I can do her true justice. And being presented in the new lawyer bookcase that the Admiral and I will pick up in a month. Chris, one day my order will drop into your box.

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
