Kind of upsetting in away.

Close examination of many of the details on this model shows that the Minicraft Titanic that I am building now for my wife is of course inaccurate! After drilling about 800 portholes I am relatively familiar with how the Minicraft kit is set up. This model, and the color film that follows, show that the older 1/350 kit has MANY accuracy issues that at least in my case will just have to be lived with! There is NO WAY I am going to back track at this point and alter 100s of portholes to make it right!

It does look that it will truly have the potential of being a magnificent model though!

So there seems to be a good amount of debate over errors in the cast of the hull.  I kind of want to see the final mold before I put the money down on this.  Also, would it be wrong to have the Revell 1:200 Research Ship that discovered the wreck modelled alongside?

I find it kind of funny that the two pictures provided for the lighting of the model show it with the superstructure placed onto the hull backwards! :D Shows real attention to scale fidelity.

Hahaha!   Exactly.  This makes me wonder if it is worth moving up from teh 1:350 benchmark kit where at least the errors and corrections are readily fixable and discussed at length already

Regardless would be a NICE mantle piece with the lighting! To many lifeboats (so I jest) the life boats need help oars, covers I sure the aftermarket world will chime in.Me I have a HK 1/32 B-25 along with some other big scale A/C I need to finish before I throw out more bucks.
