If we start to see sawdust while he's doing shrouds and ratlines, we have a problem!

Thank you Augie !

Wayne is not reading what I'm writing !

I'm gonna start tomorrow again and that don't mean that everything is already finished !

Don't forget I have only my rigging Gnomes and not the rigging spiders from Augie !

I have only make a few blocks at the foremast.

For me it is also sunday...... :P

That means that i can do what ever I want.

And now I'm in the neighbourhood of Anja  :D  :D  :D  :D

During the week we don't see each other much so ......

Looking at the last two lines of your last post Sjors, if that is true and you are still on MSW, then one of you has a problem! ;)

Grant,

When I look behind me . I just see her lovely face and smile when she is busy on her I pad.......

It counts that we can see each other even when we are doing our own thing .......

Just being together is enough ! :D  :D  :D

But it is monday, she is working at her notebook in the kitchen doing some work and I go upstairs doing my work....at the Fonz. :P

Because some builders are yelling about pictures ( I don't say any names Wayne and Popeye  :P )

I started on the shrouds at the foremast.

4 done still 14 to go......

The second picture is showing you how the mast are nice on one line.

The last 2 pictures shows you the two beasts together !

Hello Mate,

Surprise, Surprise, it's me and I'm making a comment.

Fonz is looking real good mate but I do have one question, I notice you have started your shrouds from the rear of the Channels, do your plans require you to do this or is it your own preference, I ask because it's normal practice to start at the front of the Channels and work aft.

I await your response with great anticipation. :D  :D :D  :D

I like the side by side pic mate, shows just how far you have to go on the Aggy, both have long journeys.

Mobbsie,

I have printed this out !

Mobbsie who gives a replay to me !!!!!!!

All the wonders are not out of this world yet  :D  :D  :D  :D

Then your question......

Nobody, not even the drawings, are telling me from with side I have to place the shrouds.

So I thought I make it myself easy ( if that is possible ) and started at the left and working to the bow.

And now you are telling me that that is wrong ???????? :(  :(  :(  :(

To bad for the Fonz but I'm not gonna change it anymore !

I have now done 8 shrouds and to start all over again ,I think that is to much.

For the more experienced builders, they see that it is wrong but most of the people who seeing it are not builders....maybe collectors of stamps....... :D

I really don't think it matters much.......it would just make it easier for you to do.   your something of a trekie Sjors......boldly going where no one has gone before.  you've done so many ratlines,  you probably can do them in your sleep ;)   however you do it Sjors,  your doing great!.   Fonzie looks super.......such a beauty!   Aggie looks to be a bit larger........or perhaps that just my eyes playing tricks.   fabulous progress Sjors........your a big tease!   one of these days I'll get me one of these  'big boy toys'  and I can have fun like you!

I'll bet your even going to do the ratline rungs from top to bottom,  just amaze us even more!  ;)     thank you for the pictures......you've appeased my sweet tooth!  :)

I must agree with Popeye - very nice set of photos.  The Fonz is looking sharp, and your Aggie, well, I've heard her described as being like planking a big barn.  Nicely done!

Now - more shrouds, more fiddly bits and then the part we have all been waiting for - rat lines!!!!!

@ Augie,

The first ratline goes at the top to get the shrouds tight...... :D  :D  :D  :D

Then I go from bottom to top !

This answers your question ?

@ Popeye,

They have teach me at school, take the way what works for you the best........

So I'll be doing that !

It's just the same when I'm driving my bus, if there is an obstacle on the left side of the road, I'll take the right side  :D  :D  :D

I hope I can finish the lower shrouds tomorrow so after that it's ratline time again..... :P

Aggy is a bit bigger, not much but when she have her masts you can see the difference.

I can recommend a bigger one Popeye,

It's really fun to work with it !!!!!!

@ Wayne ,

Thanks  :D  :D

Just read the answer that I wrote to Popeye and you know when the ratlines are coming !

No, it does not.  The question is ---- do you work from left to right, or right to left?  And please tell us if you're left-handed!
