Model is really small and makes you appreciate the 1:64 scale

I believe he was one of my ancestors, if that is Thomas Cochrane.  They dropped the "e" on the end of our name when they came to America.

So now I have to fess up on an error. Instructions show stern facia level with sides and instruction note that new level should be 2 mm above. When I had things dine I noticed I was 1-2 2 mm below. Looking back  I realized that the first stern facia was likely a bit low although things fit together well and looked like the pictures. I realized that I should have but the upper in first and worked down for the proper gluing of the lower one. It still looks ok and side/stern windows look almost properly aligned for the undecerning eye.

Back from vacation. Finished the hull section. Since I was off on the stern plate by 3 mm or so you will notice lines not exactly as plans but worked out and anybody outside of the forum would not likely notice. Also molded cap to stern fascia to smooth the cure, get rid of the joints and level things off.IMG_5604.thumb.jpeg.ca9d4694e04d8f4f68dfad33c8aba79b.jpegIMG_5599.thumb.jpeg.02ac369c2e8117fd4c6933610af37807.jpegIMG_5600.thumb.jpeg.3144a4476b026e5dcbfd42a3bb79d70d.jpegIMG_5601.thumb.jpeg.2b7861eb7daf1f8512bbbb98cbb4d4d7.jpegIMG_5602.thumb.jpeg.23312fabc5fe9e6125cddd8c242eb6df.jpegIMG_5603.thumb.jpeg.4aba62b4fc6a70796ed962f7ec8e0934.jpeg

Masts done and line up nicely but will not set them until yards on with pins.  Next is the bowsprit but I usually actually attach it after the shrouds done as I learned in the past my arm catches the tip and breaks it at some point.

So have some questions. I am about to attach the yards.  Interestingly there is drover  on this model, on the plans or the finished picture. Not sure why. Also, although I can see lower yard trusses in the finished pictures, there are no instructions about them. I can make them from previous model instructions (ie Diane and Agamemnon)  but am I missing something ?

I'm not sure what a drover is.

Also the rig plan instructions are pretty much what I followed when I rigged Sphinx for the manual. I didn't replicate every single rig item as a photo as the drawings suffice and photos of such things aren't easy to take. It'd also bloated the manual out by another 20 pages! 😁

Sorry, I meant Driver , for the spanker. Anyway, I do see the directions for all the other yards but the lower ones but have done several in past and have the drawings from Diane so not a major problem.
