Looks like I need to move that sheet line block forward on the boom. Why is it you find your mistakes in front of everyone on MSW. 🙄

I really like the 1:24 scale of this model. It makes the rigging look quite realistic. She sure would make a fine R/C model in 1:12 scale.

Rick,

Excellent idea… There is a 1/24 scale RC of this model on here.

I am using the above photos as my guide to finishing the hull of this impressive sea-faring yacht. I really want to get this right. 🧐

After 3 sanding and coats of paint, the final fine sanding is complete and we are ready for striping prior to the clear coat.

I am going to have to create my own lettering decals for the stern and bow.

She is coming along.

Cheers 🍻

fantastic build! I had not seen your build log! I only saw one in an Italian forum! Mine is RC as you say - still learning how to sail her!!

I have not done lettering on mine yet - if you have a decal be really interested!

I liked your build as well… I produced my own Decals. I can PM you with the MS Word file and the details.  It turns out water slide decals are a lot easier to produce than I thought. If you want to PM your mailing address to me, I’ll mail you my extra copy.

Missing details…

Oops… I forgot the Reefing Lines on the Main Sail. 🤨. This would have been a lot easier before the mounting of the sails.
